Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my website and for taking an interest in my and my work.Career wise, I am an aspiring novelist, based in Glasgow and working towards a HNC in Professional Writing Skills at City of Glasgow College. My main area of interest is novels but since I’ve been at College I’ve written a TV sitcom script, poetry, short stories and radio drama. Last year I was one of 5 winners of the Moniack Mhor Young Writers award and I was awarded a six-month mentorship with Cynthia Rogerson. I’ve also had a chapter of my book published in the Moniack Mhor Young Writers anthology. This year I am going to enter into the Kelpie Prize run by Floris Books and the Bridport Prize for Young Adult Fiction. I’ve also read this year at the City Lines festival and I am going to volunteering at the Aye Write Festival in February. I’ve sent my work off to a few publishers and I am also the co-host of beechat; a twitter chat created by Charlene McElhinney for (https://charlenemcelhinney.co.uk/)and active in many author groups on Facebook.
Aside from my work, I also have my culture blog which I have just started to write about the things I enjoy as well as books and to connect with people who like the same. My main other hobbies are going for a run (when the weather is nice), eating out, cooking, baking, reading, yoga, and occasionally making my own cocktails. I also love going to concerts and the theatre to see a play or the ballet and I love travelling to new places. I’m a bit of an adventurer and free spirit at heart.
